Acceptance and Eligibility
By using this site or FaltaPay, you accept these Terms of Use. If you use either for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
FaltaPay Licence
The Falta grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use FaltaPay under your applicable plan and these terms. FaltaPay is licensed, not sold.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights granted by the GNU General Public License. You may copy, modify, and redistribute FaltaPay components distributed under GPLv2 or later, subject to that licence.
Your plan and checkout show the price, activation allowance, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms that apply to your purchase.
Purchases and Freemius
Freemius is the merchant of record for FaltaPay purchases. Freemius handles checkout, payment, applicable taxes, invoices, licence delivery, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and chargeback handling under the terms shown at checkout and the Freemius Terms of Service.
The 14-day money-back guarantee applies to FaltaPay purchases, subject to the conditions disclosed during checkout.
Acceptable Use
You must not use this site or FaltaPay to break the law, interfere with the site or services, bypass licence or security controls, conduct security testing without approval, or infringe another person’s rights. These restrictions do not prevent you from redistributing or reverse engineering FaltaPay where the GNU General Public License or applicable law permits it.
Merchant and Third-Party Services
WordPress, payment providers, and Freemius each have separate terms. You remain responsible for your site, customer notices, provider account, credentials, transaction obligations, and compliance with applicable law. The Falta does not provide payment processing or receive cardholder data.
Intellectual Property
The Falta and its licensors own this site, FaltaPay, its documentation, trade names, marks, content, and related intellectual property. These terms grant only the licence rights stated above.
Updates, Support, Availability, and Changes
The Falta may update, maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site or FaltaPay. The Falta may change these terms and will post material changes on this page with a revised effective date.
Disclaimer and Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Falta provides this site and FaltaPay as available and disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Falta will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. The Falta’s aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the amount paid for FaltaPay in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability.
These terms do not limit liability where the law does not permit the limitation.
Indemnity, Termination, Governing Law, Severability, and Contact
Subject to applicable law, you will indemnify The Falta against claims arising from your unlawful use of this site or FaltaPay or your breach of these terms. The Falta may terminate your access or licence use if you breach these terms.
United Arab Emirates law governs these terms, and the courts of Abu Dhabi have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory law requires otherwise. If a court finds a provision invalid, it will limit or remove that provision only as needed. The remaining terms continue to apply.
